Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie

This skillet cookie is the absolute PERFECT item to bring to any event! Oh, and it’s also the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had!

The thickness of this cookie makes it crispy on the outside, and gooey on the inside…mmmmm!!!

It’s also the best feeling ever when you only have one dish to clean at the end!

  • 2 CUPS All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 CUP Sugar
  • 3/4 CUP Packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 Large egg
  • 2 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 CUPS Chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugars until mixture is light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add egg and vanilla; mix until they are fully incorporated. Add flour mixture, and beat until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer dough to a 10-inch ovenproof skillet, and press to flatten, covering bottom of pan.
  6. Bake until edges are brown and top is golden, 25-30 minutes. Don’t over bake.
