This party popcorn is so delicious and so fun to eat! The prettiness of it alone is good for decoration!
Perfect treat to have out on the counter while everyone mingles in the kitchen.
You can use holiday sprinkles for any holiday party or themed event! Doesn’t get much better than this!
Ingredients:
- 3 bags popped Popcorn
- 1 Can 14oz Caramel
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 12 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- Sprinkles
Directions:
- Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Put the caramel and butter in a medium-sized saucepan; cook over medium-low heat and stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and pour over popcorn.
- Mix until all the popcorn is well coated. Let stand for a couple of minutes to cool.
- In the meantime prepare your chocolate chips by melting them either in the microwave or over a double broiler. Melt until smooth.
- Lay popcorn mixture out on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
- Drizzle melted chocolate on top.
- Then sprinkle your favorite sprinkles on top.
- Let cool in freezer about 5 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
- Enjoy!
