Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

These apple bombs will absolutely change the way you think about dessert!

I would have never thought to use a caramel candy inside of dough…and it turned out delicious!

You can make these with your kids and not even worry about a mess being made! They are super fun to make AND eat!


Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. Can of refrigerated crescent rolls.
  • 6 Unwrapped caramel candies
  • 8 Tbsp Chopped apples from apple pie filling
  • Cinnamon sugar mixture

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease baking sheet and set aside.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  3. Place one caramel and about 1 Tbsp. chopped apples from apple pie filling on each triangle, roll the dough tightly, seal the edges, then roll between your palms to form the ball.
  4. Roll each ball into cinnamon sugar mixture and arrange onto baking sheet leaving 2 inch space apart.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the bombs are golden brown.
  6. Serve warm
