Baja Fish Tacos

I think we can all agree that finding the right fish taco can be some work. These I can tell you, are killing it on the taco game.

The creamy avocado sauce, with the delicious blackened fish… SO good.

Forget about grilling out on the weekend..these bad boys are totally the way to go. You won’t regret it!


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb White fish
  • 1/4 CUP Taco seasoning
  • Juice of 1 1/2 limes, divided
  • 2 CUPS Thinly sliced cabbage
  • 1/4 CUP Mayo
  • 8 taco-sized flour tortillas
  • Avocado Sauce

  • 1 Large avocado
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/3 CUP Cilantro
  • 4 Tbsp Mayo
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp Water

Directions:

  1. In a blender or food processor combine the avocado, lime juice, cilantro, mayo and salt and garlic powder for the sauce and pulse till smooth.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon or milk or water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Toss slaw or cabbage with ¼ cup mayo and juice from ½ of a lime.
  5. Set aside.
  6. Grease a skillet and preheat over medium heat.
  7. Add fish pieces. Drizzle juice from 1 lime over fish, then sprinkle with taco seasoning and saute over medium heat 6-8 minutes until outside is browned and fish is tender.
  8. Assemble tacos by dividing slaw, fish, and avocado sauce between tortillas.
  9. Serve with additional cilantro and lime wedges
  10. Enjoy!
